Prices quoted do not include carriage and Value Added Tax. VAT is added at the current rate, together with applicable carriage and packaging charges, to the final price at the checkout. All prices quoted are in GB Pounds Sterling.
Carriage Charges
Carriage charges indicated at the checkout are for a delivery to one address in mainland
Delivery
Orders may be delivered in a lorry of up to 28 tons therefore it is important that your property is accessible by such vehicles. Orders may be delivered on a pallet and may require 2 persons to move the goods to the destination within the property. Note that the carriers are not insured to enter your property and will only assist in delivering to ground floor. To keep delivery costs down large orders will be sent on pallets. Only one delivery attempt will be made for each pallet delivered. The courier company chosen by us will offload the goods from the delivery vehicle but has no obligation to move the goods from the drop point.
IMPORTANT: Most deliveries will be sent by a national carrier and will need a signature on delivery. Please give a delivery address where someone will be available to accept the goods during the day.
Although it is extremely rare for damage to occur during transit, please remember that a consignment must not be signed for if there is any evidence of damage. It is your responsibility to check the contents of your package and notify the driver that you wish to decline delivery. Please report any damage to us via email within 48 hours so we can arrange for replacements to be sent. We will not be liable for replacement of goods if they have been signed for received in "Good Condition".
Refund Policy
Goods may be returned for refund or exchange within 7 days of the original delivery. However this will be subject to a 25% re-stocking and handling charge. Returned goods must be undamaged and carriage is the responsibility of the customer. If goods are to be returned please confirm your intentions via email sales@electric-heatingsupplies.co.uk within 2 days of original delivery. The cost of repackaging and returning goods will be at the buyer’s expense.We will only accept returned goods which have no sign of wear and tear and which arrive at our warehouse in as new condition. Once the goods are received we will refund the value of the transaction. We are unable to accept for return any items specially ordered at customer’s request.
Payment Security
We use a certified industry standard Secure Server to ensure safe payment transactions via the websites.
Payment details are stored on the Secure Server and are sent to us in an encrypted form. You will see the padlock sign in the bottom right corner of your web browser when you are asked to enter your payment details at check-out, this verifies that you are connected to our Secure Server.
